Jennifer J. Moore, 69, of Charlotte, passed away on January 30, 2026. Born October 3, 1956, in Oxnard, California, she was the daughter of Harley H. and Virginia M. (Wood) Hand.

Jennifer was known for her caring nature and her instinct to look after those in need. She deeply loved her family and, despite many challenges, remained a steady and devoted presence in their lives. Jennifer sacrificed for her family to give them the best that she could.

Jennifer loved animals. She was known for adopting and fostering many pets throughout her life. Her most beloved pets were Riley and Jasper.

She enjoyed archery, tennis, gardening, crocheting, crafting, traveling and was an avid reader. Music was an important part of her life-she sang in her church choir in her youth and passed her love of music on to her children. She also enjoyed attending concerts with her husband, Arthur.

Jennifer was a homemaker for many years and later worked in roles including Meals on Wheels and as a realtor. In her younger years, she participated in high school track and softball and was an honor roll student. She was especially proud of her grandchildren and cherished time spent with them. She looked forward to making the holidays magical for their visits every year.

She is survived by her husband, Arthur; daughters, Julie Rentfrow, Heather (Joshua) Aemmer, and Laura (Travis) Mann; grandchildren, Allison (Joe) Marino, Jacob Rentfrow, Lucas and Elijah Aemmer, and Tegan and Terry Mann; and siblings, Michael Hand, Margaret Worthington, Connie Keen, and Ila (Ronald) Peters. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Casey Rentfrow, and her parents.

Friends may share memories on her Tribute Page at www.prayfuneral.com. Memorial contributions may be made to All Species Kinship (A.S.K) or Eaton County Humane Society. The family is in the care of Pray Funeral Home, Charlotte.
