Jennifer Lynn Nelson

Jennifer Lynn (LaCombe) Nelson, age 57, of Prior Lake, MN died unexpectedly of natural causes on June 7th, 2024. Loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Jennifer graduated from Minneapolis Roosevelt High School in 1984. She was an operations manager for 20 years at Diversified Wealth Management. Jennifer loved flea markets, gardening, crafting, puzzles, animals, games, jokes and was a diehard Minnesota sports fan. She was always the happiest person at every party. She was a joy to be around. She lived to make her family happy. Jennifer was the glue that held us all together, she was the activities director, the shenanigans instigator and the hostess with the most-est. This incredible human walked into a room of strangers and walked out of a room with new friends who will never forget her, and all knew a new joke. Our world lost a live-life-to-the fullest little ray of sunshine, and she will be sorely missed.
Preceded in death by parents, Mary Jane and Vernon LaCombe, of Minneapolis, MN. Survived by husband, Terry, and daughters, Eleanore and Mary Elizabeth, siblings, Mary Catherine (Mike) Madden, Matt, Mitch (Susan), Marty (Kelly), in-laws, David and Phyllis Nelson, of Devil's Lake, ND, Randy, Rodney (Patty), and beloved dog, Oakley.
Celebration of life will be held Thursday, June 13th at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, 5000 W 50th St, Edina. Visitation 9am, service 11am. A picnic luncheon at Mary Kay Madden's home following the service to celebrate Jennifer's life and her 58th birthday.
