Jennifer "Jenn" Joan Osier, 53, completed her beautiful life and journey at her home in
Clare, Michigan on December 19, 2023, in the arms of her dedicated and loving wife, Kelly. Jenn was born on August 8, 1970, in
Standish, Michigan, to Virgil and Margaret (Senske) Osier. Jenn grew up and attended school in the farming community of Standish. She received a bachelor's degree in arts from Central Michigan University and later earned a master's degree in counseling at Sienna Heights. Jenn dedicated the bulk of her life to helping professions, first at the Manor in Jonesville and Starr Commonwealth in Albion serving displaced adolescents and youth and later, impacted the wellness of older adults at PACE in Mt. Pleasant. Her personal interests included crafting and quilting; creating thoughtful and beautiful works to share with friends and family. She also knew her way around power tools given her DIY attitude with repairs and renovations, which paired well with her hard-working, task-oriented determination. Jenn had a love of nature, engaging in camping, hiking, and biking - be it on beaches, in the woods, or in mountains. She was all in for travel and adventure and sought opportunities to explore. Above all, Jenn's greatest passion was her love of family; making treasured memories, laughter, music and, of course, dancing - Forever in our Hearts. Jenn is survived by her wife, Kelly Osier, whom she married on October 24, 2020; two beloved stepdaughters, Katelyn and Allison VanOrden; mother Margaret Osier; sisters, Rosalie (Bob) Hodge, Anita (Greg) Yenna, Tom (Karen Hovey) Briggs, and Jan Cardinal; nieces and nephews, Darrel (Alisha) Yenna, Jared (Kristi) Yenna, Robby (Meagan Deierling) Hodge, Rachel Hodge, Randy (Sam) Hodge, Craig Briggs, Nick Briggs, Josh (Amy) Cardinal, Dustin (Ashley) Cardinal, Brady Cardinal, Jordan Osier, and Brandon Osier; great nieces and nephews, Karleigh McBride, Jaylynn Yenna, Bodie Yenna, Morgan Yenna, Keagan Yenna, Kylea Yenna, Kolten Yenna, Claire Cardinal, Emma Cardinal, Addie Cardinal, and Mila Cardinal. In addition, she leaves her constant companion and furry friend Sully. Jenn was preceded in death by her father, Virgil Osier; and brothers, Donald Briggs and Phillip Osier; brother in-law, John Cardinal; and precious Max. Jennifer has been cremated, per her wishes, and her Service and Celebration of Life will be held at the Charles Lux Family Funeral Home (2300 S. Lincoln Rd, Mt.
