Jennifer Ann Rasar was born on May 21, 1952, to Burton and Barbara Walker in Seattle, WA. She was unexpectedly taken up into the arms of God, her Heavenly Father on October 12th, at the age of 73 years, surrounded by family. She was the second child following older sibling Sue and joined by Holly, Jeff, Leslie and Robbie.

Jennifer accepted Jesus into her heart in middle school. She lived with a deep Christian faith and purpose that reached and changed the course of generations. A quiet yet mighty prayer warrior, she was quick to listen, eager to hear every detail, and steadfast in prayer and petition.

She attended Western Washington University, where she met the love of her life at a Bible Study, Doug Rasar. They were married 52 wonderful years. She deeply cherished her daughters Jessica and Monica, her sons-in-law Josh and Erik, and delighted in her role as "Nana" to her beloved grandchildren Jacqueline, Jackson, J.D., Audrey, Jake, and Will.

She devoted more than 35 years to nursing, most of them in the NICU at Overlake, where she had the privilege of caring for newborns during their most fragile moments. Her compassion reached beyond the babies in her care, touching the hearts of families and colleagues.

Jennifer wholeheartedly loved her family, taking time to listen, cheering you on whether at a kid's game, celebration, milestone, or simply getting time with you. She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her deep love for others, her empathy, her confident and comforting presence, and her remarkable ability to listen and remember details.

She will be deeply missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, family, and a wide circle of friends who were profoundly impacted by her love and faith.

"I have no greater joy than this to hear of my children (and grandchildren) walking in the Truth." 3 John 1:4
