Ray Edward Rasar "Eddy Ray" age 73 of Lenoir City passed away March 6, 2023 at Ben Atchley Veterans Home. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy serving on the USS Charles H. Roan. Ray retired from TVA after many years of service. He formerly attended Fellowship Baptist Church. Ray enjoyed racing cars at Atomic Speedway. He was a pen collector and was known as the "Pen Man". His other hobbies included bowling, darts, golf, playing on his softball team Eddie and the Cruisers. Preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Fay Rasar; brother, Dennis Rasar and former wife, Brenda Knox Rasar. Survived by his children: Hollie Rasar Sullivan (Sean), Ray Edward Rasar II (Sarah), and Chelsea Nicole Rasar (Kevin Miller); grandchildren: Kayla, Zoe, Ally, Ray Edward III, Sadie Ray, Cayton, Johnathan Jr., and Elijah; great grandson, Emmett; siblings, Donna McNabb (Blue) and Pam Rasar Mills (James) along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family would like to express a special thanks to all the care givers at Ben Atchley Veterans Home. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 11th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. We will then proceed to Corinth Cemetery in Loudon for graveside services. Military honors will be conferred by Loudon Co. Veterans Honor Guard. The family requests that everyone dress casually. Click Funeral Home, 109 Walnut Street, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
