Their love story was one for the ages-Bob, from Lenoir City, Tennessee, and Frances, from Benham, Kentucky, eloped in Georgia just two months after meeting and built a life together in Elwood, Indiana, where they raised their family before settling in Tipton.
They are survived by their three sons: Wayne Pickell of Atlanta, GA, Don Pickell of Rossville, IN, and Dan and Melissa Pickell of Frankfort, IN; daughter-in-law Amy Nguyen of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren Katelynn Pickell, Kaylee Pickell, Chloe Pickell, and Peyton Pickell; along with other extended family.
A celebration of their lives will be held on Saturday, September 6th at 11am in the Pickell family cemetery, Woodlawn Cemetery, in Lenoir City, Tennessee. Click Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
