Jennifer Marie Stutzman, 42, of Garrett, IL passed away at 2:55 AM on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at her residence.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Penn Station, 122 East Progress St., in Arthur, IL. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Penn Station. Pastor Doug Davis will officiate. Burial will be in the Arthur Cemetery. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Jennifer was born on February 22, 1983 in Decatur, IL. She was a daughter of Merle H. and Debbie A. (Risley) Stutzman.
She is survived by two children, Piper Elizabeth Quick (9), and Christian Isaiah Stutzman (8), her mom, Debbie Stutzman, her twin brother, Jason Stutzman and his wife Meranda, and a sister, Amy Stutzman and her boyfriend Kevin Robertson, all of Arthur, IL, nephew, Andrew Maxwell, niece, Ruby Stutzman, great nephew, Kendrick Maxwell, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many many friends that she considered family
She was preceded in death by her father, Merle Stutzman, her paternal grandparents, William “Henry” and Ella Stutzman and her maternal grandparents, Bill and Flossie Risley.
Jennifer graduated from Arthur High School in 2001. Jennifer dedicated her working life to serving her community. She held positions at Casey’s in Tuscola and Atwood, IL, as well as at Dollar General in Arcola, Arthur, Atwood and Tuscola.
Jennifer was known for her warm personality, she never met a stranger. She was a very giving individual, always striving to help others whenever she could. Her kindness and generosity touched the lives of many.
In her free time, Jennifer enjoyed fishing and had a passion for collecting John Deere memorabilia.
Memorials may be made to Jennifer Marie Stutzman Fund at the Arthur State Bank and the 1st State Bank of Atwood.
