EASTON: Jennifer Dawn Bray White, 48, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Easton Thursday evening February 5, 2026 leaving behind a community forever changed by her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for others.
She was born on January 26, 1978, in Nebraska. Jennifer moved to Maine in the 1990s and quickly made it home. She was a proud graduate of Caribou High School and went on to dedicate much of her life to the Easton School Department as a custodian and bus driver. Jennifer didn't just do her job-she lived it. She knew the children by name, greeted them with smiles, and made them feel safe, seen, and loved. The staff and students adored her, and she loved every single child as if they were her own. To the school, Jennifer was not just an employee-she was family, Jennifer's heart for service extended far beyond the school walls. For over ten years, she worked alongside and volunteered with the Easton Fire Department, always willing to help wherever she was needed. In recognition of her dedication, compassion, and constant presence, she was recently voted an Honorary Member of the department-an honor that meant the world to her.
Outside of her service to others, Jennifer found joy in the things that mattered most: tending to her garden, four wheeling, laughing with friends, and spending time with her family, who were the center of her world. She was a devoted wife, a fiercely loving mother, a proud grandmother, and a loyal friend. Her laughter, generosity, and big heart will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.
Jennifer was predeceased by her father, Thomas Bray (2010), sister, Theresa Knowles (2022), father-in-law Peter White (2013).
She is lovingly survived by her mother, Cynthia Bray; her brother, Thomas (Bonnie) Bray Jr.; her husband, Gregory White; her children, Jordan White, Shawn Doody, Briana (Kate) Nichols-White, and Molly White; her cherished granddaughter, Gemma Graves; mother-in-law, Ann White; brother-in-laws, Kim (Tammey) White, Loren White, Randy (Tammy) White, Darrell (Laurie) White, and Aaron Knowles. She is also survived by countless nieces, nephews, friends, and the entire Easton school community, all of whom will carry her memory forward.
A memorial service will be held 1PM Saturday February 14, 2026, at the Easton Elementary School with Pastor Spencer Hawbaker officiating Donations may be made to Jennifer Bray White Scholarship Fund P.O. Box 258
