Jennifer Zavala Orozco, 25, of Brownsville, Texas, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, left this world surrounded by love on July 27, 2025, at Valley Regional Medical Center, with her family by her side.

Jennifer was born in Columbus, Ohio on October 4, 1999, and brought light and joy to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She will always be remembered for her vibrant personality, her infectious smile, and a laugh that could brighten even the darkest of days. Jennifer found immense joy in spending time with her nephews, and her love for her family was deep and unconditional.

She is now reunited with her father, Arturo Orozco Sr.; her sister, Irma Elia Orozco; and her grandmother, Elia Rodriguez.

Jennifer's memory will live on through those who loved her most: her mother, Martina Orozco; her brother, Arturo Orozco Jr. (Lilibeth); her sisters, Jeanette Peña (Ruben) and Elma Orozco (3 children); and her beloved nephews, Ethan Abdiel Orozco, Aaron Esparza Rangel, Dominic Anthony Peña, and Damian Sixto Peña.

Jennifer's presence was a gift to all who knew her. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she loved. Jennifer's joyful spirit, laughter, and love will always be remembered. Though her time with us was far too short, the impact she made will last a lifetime.

Services are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory & Flower Shop. 657 Springmart Blvd., Brownsville, Texas. (956) 350-8485
