Jenny Ann Abraham, 73, of Sioux City passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, February 1, 2025. 

She was born on February 7, 1951 to Keith and Dorothy (Watterson) Adams in Sioux City, Iowa. She had two sisters, Julie Martin and Jane Hockett. She attended public schools and later went to Bishop Heelan Catholic High School, graduating in 1969. Jenny was a surgical nurse in Omaha and the surrounding Sioux City area.

She married Timothy F. Shults in 1969, unto that union 2 children were born, Timothy (JoDee) Shults and Renee (Shawn) Hoffman. Jenny later married the love of her life, Arthur J. Abraham (Artie) on October 5, 1985 in Omaha, Nebraska where they resided until they moved back to Sioux City to be closer to their family in 2000. She lost Artie on May 15, 2011.

The last 15 years of her life, she loved spending time with grandchildren Keith and Jack, Outside grilling and watching her great grandchildren grow. Her laugh was so bright and her smile was so big. She spent every day with her daughter Renee and "her guys" Keith and Jack, who loved taking her shopping and out to eat.

Those left behind to cherish Jenny's sweet memories are her children Timothy (JoDee) Shults and Renee (Shawn) Hoffman; grandchildren, Ryan, Nolan and Daylan Shults, Keith (Kelsey) Keleher and Jack Kilberg; great grandchildren, Delaney and Kash Keleher

Anxiously awaiting her arrival in heaven are Jenny's parents; husband, Artie; sister, Julie Martin and her great granddaughter, Blaire Lynn Keleher.

Per Jenny's wishes, cremation rites have been performed. Family and friends will gather at a later date for the celebration of her life.

"I understand myself only after I had destroyed myself. And only in the process of fixing myself, did I know who I really was."
