Jenny Letts Obituary
Jenny Letts, 87, of Woolstock died Monday, October 13, 2025 at her home. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 20, 2025 at the Graceland Cemetery, Section 10. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is entrusted with the services.
Ginevra Lois Soop, daughter of Frank and Doris (Doughten) Soop, was born October 24, 1937 in Webster City. She attended school in Woolstock and graduated from Eagle Grove High School. On June 3, 1956, Jenny was united in marriage to Kenneth Dean Letts at the Woolstock United Methodist Church. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Treasurer for the Woolstock Methodist Church and was active in United Methodist Women. Jenny also served on the Woolstock city council, enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, gardening and traveling along with spending time with grandchildren and family.
She is survived by her son, Scott Letts of Webster City; daughters, Holly (Mike) McCormick and Carey (Jason) Salts all of Altoona; grandchildren, Hannah (Justin Eiesland) Salts, Nathan (Taylor) Salts, Amy Salts and great-granddaughter, Ella Eiesland.
Jenny was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth in 2005; grandson, Morgan McCormick; her parents and her brother, Allen Soop.
