It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Jenny Wiltse, age 77, who left us peacefully on October 24, 2025 at Clark Crossings in Wells, surrounded by her family. A Memorial Service will be held at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Blue Earth on October 31, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be an hour before the service.
Born on June 16, 1948, in Wells, Minnesota, Jenny was the beloved daughter of Donald and Adeline (Mosser) Schreiber and a cherished sister among her four siblings. After graduating from Wells High School in 1966, Jenny took her passion for caring for others to Riverland Technical College, where she earned her LPN degree. She dedicated her career to nursing, lovingly serving at Wells Municipal Hospital, Parker Oaks in Winnebago, and St. Luke’s in Blue Earth, from which she retired. Her gentle spirit and compassionate heart touched countless lives. On June 2, 1995 she married David Wiltse and their 2 families united as one. Jenny was not only a devoted caregiver but also a woman of many joys. She found solace in cooking and baking. She loved the outdoors, often taking time to watch for deer in her yard. Travel was another of her passions, and she spent many trips exploring destinations in the US, as well as taking cherished day trips with her soulmate, Davy. Jenny is survived by her loving husband, Davy Wiltse, children; Jeffery (Jodi) Schreiber, Jeremy (Kelly) Schroeder and Mandi (Chad) Wiltse-Kosbab, grandchildren; Ali, Andrea (Angus), Jake, Kacie, Reid, Logan, Aspen and Berent, her siblings; Diane (Michael) Graham, Kathy (Paul) Kalis, Natalie (Brian) Niebuhr and Tim (Barb) Schreiber. In-laws; Pat Walker, Danny (Sue) Wiltse, Scott (Vicki) Wiltse as well as many other extended family and close friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, parents-in-law, brothers-in-law; Jerry Wiltse, Craig Wiltse and Merrill Walker and sisters-in-law Pooch Wiltse and Judy Wiltse.
