Jensen Paige Anders was taken from us too soon, departing on March 15, 2025. She leaves behind her beloved son, Jett Harmon, her mother, Anita Anders, her brother, Jack Gordon, her stepfather, Justin Wedel, and her cat, Jimmy. Jensen could be described at times as an agave cactus - drought tolerant, adaptive to even the harshest of environments, sharp and prickly when necessary, but sweet like candy when seasoned properly.
From winning local beauty pageants in her youth, to breaking multiple bones in a not so illustrious softball, volleyball and track career from ages 5-17, to now loving camping with friends for days on end without a shower as an adult, she was always ready for the next adventure, with or without makeup. And she always played to win - especially when it came to sharing cat videos. The 24/7 text battle between her and her mother reached epic proportions at times, ruined many a Sunday dinner, and crested with YouTube direct messaging them to, "get a grip ladies, they're just cats".
Despite Jensen's championship caliber texting techniques and the uncanny ability to butter up her younger brother, Jack, to always buy her McDonald's since, "It tastes better when it's free", her greatest accomplishment was bringing the love of her life into this world - no, not cats, but her dearest son, Jett. The excitement of his birth melted her heart in ways that cannot be explained. He was her sole focus and always on her hip, and her world revolved around him. The devotion, adoration and nourishment shown to him during his first year of life will be etched into our hearts forever. She will always be watching over him from above.
Jensen is survived by her papa Lloyd "Red" and Oneita Anders of Thorndale, Glen Anders of Thorndale, Rex and Jeni Anders of Thorndale, Gary and Sharon Anders of Taylor, Megan Medford and family of Taylor, Ashley Doss and family of Taylor, Brooke Bachmeyer and family of Taylor, Craig Anders of Taylor, Codi Culbertson and family of Thorndale, Shelby Anders of Thorndale, Ariana Anders of Stephenville, Chris Johnson of Thorndale, Todd Lantzsch of Thrall, and many other extended family members and friends. As her papa Red would say, "You'll be missed, baby girl".
