Jerald "Bart" Aker, Jr. Obituary Jerald "Bart" Bartlett Aker, Jr. of Pierceton, Indiana passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 3, 2025, at the age of 65. He joyfully shared with his family that he recently accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Bart was a devoted husband and father who will be loved and missed by all...and knowing that he is home in Heaven is comforting.
He was born on June 13, 1960, in Warsaw, Indiana, to Karen Sue (Lewis) Aker and Jerald Bartlett Aker, Sr. Bart was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County where he graduated from Warsaw High School. He studied accounting when he attended Vincennes University and Fort Wayne Business College having earned an Associate's degree. Bart retired from a career in custom fencing after 12 years. He was passionate about politics and an enthusiastic and avid supporter of the Republican party. Never shy about sharing his viewpoints and support for Donald Trump.
More than anything, Bart loved his family, especially spending the last 31 years with the love of his life, Jenette Fairchild Aker. They raised their children and enjoyed time with their grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Jenette Fairchild Aker (Pierceton, Indiana); son, Billy Fairchild; and six daughters, Paula Jaynes, Jennifer Shepherd, Kimberly Elisech, Stephanie Fairchild, Alyssa Lake, and Jessica Fairchild. Also surviving are twenty-four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, brother, Troy Aker and his sister, Dawn Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Leah Aker and grandson, Cameron Fairchild.
Bart's life will be celebrated by his family at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted with Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
He loved animals and his family requests that memorial donations in Bart's name be directed to the Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County, 1048 S. 325 W., Pierceton, IN 46562.
