Jesse Sasse Obituary
He was born Wednesday, June 30, 1982 to James E. "Jim" Sasse and the late Shonie M. Potter in Danville, Indiana.
Jesse was a graduate of Martinsville High School and did some classwork at Vincennes University. He started working for his dad at Jim's Trim Shop when he turned 16 and never looked back. He bought the business when his dad retired and worked hard to keep it running for years. Jesse was a terrific craftsman and had a very loyal customer base that knew exactly who to call when they needed it. Jesse was a hard worker and had a big heart. He was kind and generous and always put others first. He enjoyed guns and watches but more than anything, he loved his family and spent the last several years being with the love of his life, Lisa.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa L. (Perry) Sasse who he married November 4, 2017; father, James E. "Jim" Sasse (Paula); brother, Charles "Charlie" Sasse (Laura); stepson, Eli Richards (Angie); stepdaughter, Megan Ferguson; step grandchildren, Tristan, Hunter, Dane, Iona, Isaiah; niece, Devin; several half and step siblings including Matt and Andrea Arnold; step grandmother, Myrtle "Dottie" Moore.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Costin Funeral Chapel. Services will follow the visitation at 1:00 p.m. with Matt Arnold officiating.

Oh my goodness...I'm so terribly sorry to learn of Jesse's passing. I very much enjoyed spending the small amount of time that I did when I would visit with Tom. He was a very engaging, talented, fun person. I'll always remember his wonderful smile. My heart goes out to the entire family.
