Mary Moreland Obituary
She was born on Friday, September 10, 1937 in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late Lawrence and Marie Antoinette (Oaks) Eicher.
Mary Ann retired after 44 years as a legal secretary at a law firm in Indianapolis. She was a member of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Richard S. "Dick" Moreland, they were married on December 17, 1982; children, Derek Tamber, Richard Moreland, Jr., Jeffery Moreland, Mary Lou Draughton and Veronica Moreland; brother, David Eicher; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by son, Leonard Moreland; daughter, Diane Moreland; her parents, Lawrence and Marie.
A funeral mass will be 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 1709 East Harrison Street, Martinsville, Indiana, with Father Steve Giannini officiating. Visitation will be Monday at Costin Funeral Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until mass time.
