Jerald Montford

Funeral Services for Mr. Jerald Tyrone Montford, of East Dublin, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 2 PM at the East Laurens High School Gymnasium, 1010 US Highway 80 in East Dublin. Interment will follow in the Buckeye Baptist Church Cemetery.
Jerald Tyrone Montford was born on Tuesday, March 28, 1967, to the union of Roszina Payne Montford and the late Robert H. Montford of East Dublin, Georgia.
For many years, Jerald was a loving and faithful brother as a Jehovah Witness. He was a longtime employee of Brian's Subs Sandwich Shop until earlier this year.
Jerald departed this life unexpectedly on Friday, August 2, 2025. He was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Montford, his father, Robert H. Montford, and his grandparents, Opal and Mark Payne, and Gertrude and Herman Montford, several aunts and uncles, and by his oldest nephew, Trae Pittman.
Mr. Montford leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Roszina P. Montford of East Dublin, Georgia, his siblings, Barbara Montford Pittman, Rome, Georgia, Felicia Montford, Glen (Mary) Montford, and Timothy Montford, all of Dublin, Georgia, Nicole (Gabriel) Brazil and Quinteaz Montford, who were raised as his siblings, special niece and nephew, Briana Blackshear and Roderick Pittman, two godbrothers, Schmari Stanley and Fredrick Johnson of Atlanta, Georgia, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and members of his East Laurens High School Class of 1985.
