Jerald Vonche Montgomery, 48, died Thursday, January 16, 2025. He was born on January 2, 1977.
Funeral Service will be 10 A.M. Saturday, January 25, 2025 at the Old West Florida Enrichment Center, with burial at Oakland Cemetery.
Viewing will be from 12 (Noon) to 6 P.M. Friday, January 24, 2025 at Strong and Jones Funeral Home. The family will be present to greet guests and friends from 5 to 6 P.M.
He is survived by his three children, Camille and Chloe Montgomery, (their mother, LaToya Montgomery) and Caelen Montgomery, (his mother Antwana Watts); mother, Doris Montgomery; sisters, Teresa Marshall and Stephanie Brown; brother, Pastor Ervin Montgomery Jr. (Toshiba); and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ervin Montgomery Sr.

Jerald was such a sweet and kind man. I'm so sorry for yalls loss. He always talked about his children and the love he had for them. He was always smiling and optimistic. And my heart hurts for you all. He is gone way too soon. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Jerald was a very good friend of mine. He was a gentle soul who truly cared about people and their well-being. What I remember most about Jerald is his love for his children. He really took pride in being a father. I always admired that about him. Gone too soon my dear friend. Fly high!
