Ms. Jeraldine Anderson, age 60, passed away on March 11, 2025.
On June 23, 1964, Jack McKingsley Anderson and Gladys Marie Hunter-Anderson welcomed the birth of Jeraldine Anderson in Gainesville, Florida. Jeraldine attended and was educated in the Alachua County Public Schools and graduated from Sidney Lanier School.
On Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at approximately 8:00 PM God fit to remove from our midst our beloved Jeraldine and she has joined the innumerable host that awaits us all on the other side.
Preceding her Jeraldine in death were her father, Jack McKingley Anderson, hoer mother, Gladys Marie Hunter-Anderson, brothers, Johnny Lee Smith, Clarence Anderson, and Jack Anderson, Jr.
She leaves to mourn, but cherish her precious memories; three sisters, Annie Pearl Rentz, Wilhemina James (Wilbur), and Mary Selena Anderson-Cason; one brother, Otis Vinson Anderson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation for Ms. Anderson will be Friday, March 21, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Chestnut Memorial Chapel, 18 NW 8th Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32601.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Mt. Olive AME Church, 721 SE 8th Street, Gainesville, FL 32601.
Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Gainesville, FL.
