Jere Arno Obituary

Mr. Arno was born January 17, 1954 in Boise, Idaho. He served in the United States Army for 3 years and 3 months as Specialist 4. He attended Freed-Hardeman University earning his Associates degree. Mr. Arno was employed with North Sea Oil working as a pipe layer. Mr. Arno was a member of the Church of Christ where he was a part-time preacher from 1973 until 1985 then became a full-time preacher from 1985-2001. Mr. Arno was employed with Fulton County School System from 2001-2012 as a bus driver.
He was preceded in death by his son, Andrew Arno. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sherry Arno; his sons, Christopher Arno (Mary), Jonathan Arno, Stephen Arno; his grandchildren, Katelyn Arno and Levi Arno; daughter in-law, Holly Arno.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Minister Larry Burch officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Parrott Funeral Home & Crematory, 770-964-4800.
Interment will be Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Georgia National Cemetery.

Remember Jere and his family very well as a preacher at East Point. Sorry for his loss but it´s heaven´s gain.
