Jeremi John Wicker

Jeremi John Wicker, 48, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away August 24, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born on January 31, 1977, in Piggott, Arkansas, and was the son of Thomas Wicker and Judy (Smith) Holt.

Jeremi was united in marriage to Erica on October 23, 2010.

A dedicated police officer, Jeremi began his career at Blytheville Police Department from 2003 until 2008. He began serving for the Piggott Police Department in 2007, becoming Chief of Police in 2019, retiring in 2023. His commitment to service did not stop at the local police offices, serving as a member of Board of Directors for the Drug Task Force. Outside of work, Jeremi cherished time with his family and loved all things outdoors.

Jeremi is survived by his wife Erica Wicker; daughter, Magan Brennan and husband Shane; son, Keaton Wicker; a future granddaughter; father, Thomas Wicker and wife Sharon; mother, Judy Holt sister, Fallon Boshoff and husband Theunis; brother, Jeff Wicker and wife Lindsey; father and mother-in-law, Troy and Johnna Redman; Pawpaw, John Bradshaw; step-sister, Laura Chandler and husband Rob; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Piggott, Arkansas, with Kevin Murray and John Bradshaw officiating. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in Emmanuel Baptist Church in Piggott, Arkansas.
