Jereme Dale Brandell, age 51, of Lamar, Missouri, passed away on December 28, 2025.
He was born February 28, 1974, in El Dorado Springs, Missouri, to Dennis Dale Brandell and Jeannie Colleen (Rust) Jeffries.
Jereme had a deep love for God, for his family, and for music. In recent years, he shared his passion for worship by playing in the band at Four Rivers Church in Marshfield, Missouri. Throughout his life, he performed at many venues with friends who became like family. He wrote countless songs that reflected both his life experiences and his walk with Jesus.
A lover of the outdoors, Jereme especially enjoyed fishing and metal detecting, often surrounded by good friends and great stories.
Jereme is survived by his son, Jeremiah (Jessi) Brandell; his mother, Jeannie (Matt) Jeffries; his brothers, Ory Jeffries, Dalton Brandell and Veli Emre Ozdemir; his sisters, Eleanor “Elie” (Jordan) Maberry, Samantha “Sami” Brandell, and Amber Green; his grandmother, Elvira Antell; and two cherished grandchildren, Trapper Brandell and Miah Jo Brandell.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Brandell; his sister, Heather Brandell; his nephew, Spencer Matty; his grandmother, Joyce Phipps; and his grandfather, Everett Rust.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Lamar Family Ministries Center in Lamar, Missouri. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:30 a.m., prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Daniel Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
