Jeremiah Ronald “Pudge” Pearson, born August 3, 1987, in Bethesda, passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and quiet strength that will live on in all who knew him.
Jeremiah was the beloved son of Pamela D. Hicks and Elnardo V. Hicks, and a devoted brother to Nicolia Pearson. From an early age, he carried a warmth and humor that earned him the affectionate nickname “Pudge,” a name spoken with love by family and friends throughout his life.
He graduated in 2005 from Westlake High School, where he built lasting friendships and developed the hardworking spirit that would define his future. In 2015, Jeremiah began his career in construction, committing himself fully to his craft. Through determination and perseverance, he earned his Operator license in January 2023, and in October 2025, proudly obtained his CDL license—milestones that reflected his dedication to growth and providing for his family. He was a valued employee at Maryland Transit Solutions, where his strong work ethic and reliability left a lasting impression on colleagues and supervisors alike.
Above all else, Jeremiah’s greatest pride and joy were his family. He shared a loving partnership with his fiancée, Allashia Graham-Bey, and was a devoted father to Jace Pearson, Joshua Pearson, Jessiah Pearson, and Messiah Pearson. His children were the center of his world. Whether he was offering guidance, sharing laughter, or simply being present, Jeremiah embraced fatherhood with his whole heart. His love was steady, protective, and unconditional.
Jeremiah will be remembered for his resilience, his loyalty to those he loved, and his quiet but powerful way of showing up for others. He was a man who worked hard, loved deeply, and carried himself with strength and humility. His presence brought comfort, his laughter brought light, and his memory will forever remain a blessing to those fortunate enough to have known him.
A visitation will be held on February 23, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Lee Funeral Home, followed by the funeral service from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at 1:30 p.m. at Trinity Memorial Gardens & Mausoleum.
Though his time here was far too short, Jeremiah’s impact was immeasurable. His love, his lessons, and his spirit will continue to guide his family and friends in the days ahead. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
