Jeremy S. Davey

Jeremy S. Davey, 52, of Duluth, passed beyond the veil of the living at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Rochester, MN on Sunday November 2, 2025, surrounded by those he loved. He was born in Duluth on August 2, 1973, to Dale and Barb Davey. Jeremy attended Duluth Central and graduated from Lake Superior College with a degree in Journalism & Broadcasting.

 Jeremy’s passion for Horror movies and monsters seeped into every facet of his life and he loved sharing his passions with anyone who would listen, willing or not. He was an artist, avid reader, a prolific writer of articles and poetry, loved music and played the guitar. One of his biggest thrills was writing for a publication where he got to see and interview his favorite bands.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his father Dale, his brother John and niece Kacey, all of whom he was eager to talk to once again, at length, on the other side.

Jeremy will be missed by his mother Barb, sister Kelly (Brad) Emanuel, and brother Joe (Jen) Davey, his “little buddy” nephew Darrell, nieces and nephews Erin, Katyanna, Nick, Jessica, Matt and Scott and their families, amazing friends, numerous cousins, and extended family. Your kindness and love for your family and friends will always remain in our hearts. We love you…Rest peacefully now.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday November 12, 2025, from Noon until the 1PM Memorial Service in Dougherty Funeral Home. 600 E. 2nd St. Duluth, MN 55805. 218-727-3555. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
