Jeremy DuBois

Jeremy Clyde DuBois, age 43, of Henley, Mo., passed away, Sunday, February 4, 2024, at University Hospital in Columbia, Mo.
Jeremy was born on February 27, 1980, on a United States Air Force Base in Abilene, Tx., the son of James Jacob and Esther Lynn (Garner) Wright.
He grew up in the St. Louis, Mo. area and attended Ritenhour High School.
Jeremy was married to Andrea Nevergall and was blessed with his son, Justin, from this union. On April 25, 2014, Jeremy married Bobbi Jo Stack, who survives.
His professional journey led him to work as a welder with Doolittle Trailers Manufacturing in Holts Summit, Mo. until his health began to decline. A tech enthusiast as well, he excelled in coding and played a role in crafting apps and websites.
Jeremy has been a resident of Henley, Mo. since 2007 and a member of Hickory Hill Baptist Church.
Known for his wit and ability to quote movies and songs, Jeremy brought laughter wherever he went. Above all, Jeremy cherished moments spent with his family. Whether it was exploring San Diego with his wife, rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals, or simply savoring time with loved ones, family remained his top priority. He found joy in leisure activities such as playing Xbox, engaging in games like MLB the Show, Tomb Raider, and Batman.
Jeremy is survived by: his loving wife, Bobbi Jo Stack-DuBois; son, Justin Allen DuBois of Terre Haute, Indiana; parents, Jim and Esther Wright of Henley, Mo.; sister-in-law, Jaymie Wright of St. Charles, Mo. and her children, Hailey and Kylee; mother-in-law, Linda Stack of Pocahontas, Illinois; father-in-law, William Joseph "Joe" Stack of Granite City, Illinois; numerous cousins; and his beloved cat, Max.
He was preceded in death by his brother, James Russell "Jimbo" Wright, and a cousin, Robert Long.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Hickory Hill Baptist Church, 12729 United Rd, Eugene, Mo. 65032. A service to celebrate Jeremy's life will follow the visitation at 11:00 a.m. Saturday with the Reverend Steve Hogard officiating. Please note this service is being held three weeks from the date of his passing.
