Jeremy Gregorec Obituary
Jeremy Gregorec, age 45, of Porter, Indiana passed away suddenly on June 19, 2021. Jeremy was raised in Elwood, IL and graduated from Joliet Central High School. He earned a BA in Risk Management from Purdue University and worked as a superintendent in high-rise construction.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn L. Gregorec; grandparents, Louis (Linda) Gregorec, Dorothy (Winters) Gregorec, and Robert (Betty) Smith.
Jeremy was a loving father to his son, Uriah, who he adored. He is survived by his father, Jim (Dean) Gregorec; brothers, Jim (Tammy) Gregorec, Jeff (Kim) Gregorec, Jason (Angie) Gregorec, Zach Lord, Sam (Megan) Lord. He was a beloved uncle to his nieces, Alyssa, Lauryn, Aly; nephews, Jeremy Jr., Connor, Josh, Gavin, Owen, Dylan, Dakota.
Jeremy is loved and memories of him will be cherished. We will always miss his quick wit and humor. Jeremy's passing has left a huge void in the Gregorec family.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Crossroads Christian Church, 2312 Essington Rd., Joliet, IL, 60435. Visitation begins at 2:00 pm with service to follow at 3:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers please make donations in Jeremy's name to Restoration Ministries, www.restorationministries.net, 253 E. 159th St., Harvey, IL 60426. Arrangements entrusted to Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.ee-fh.com.

May God bless you and your family . Mr Gregorec we met when I was a friend (Joliet Union President at the time) of Jeremy's in Joliet. I still remember you as being so very nice and very helpful to me. Thank you again. I am so sorry for Jeremy's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Some amazing memories were had with Jeremy and all our friends together in Joliet, Elwood and Plainfield especially in our High School and College years. There´s no doubt these memories of laughter, adrenaline, fun and listening to great music together will stay with all of us forever. He is gone far too soon and my deepest thoughts and prayers go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Jeremy was one of our son's closest friends.We have such wonderful memories of him, his energy, intelligence, his good heart,his sense of humor,the crazy hijinks of the boys during their teen years.We are deeply saddened at his loss; mere words do not seem adequate to convey our sorrow.The world has lost a good and loving soul. We will forever remember Jeremy with love and warmth, glad that we knew him, glad that his friendship touched all our lives. We extend our very deepest sympathy to his entire family, along with our prayers for God's comfort. May his memory be eternal.

Jeremy´s passing feels like a member of my family has left us. Jeremy had a pure heart, loving spirit and a great sense of humor. Jim, your family has been a part of mine for many years and we are here praying and interceding for you and your entire family.
