On April 22nd, Jeremy Hills, 38, of Kansas City, Missouri, was taken from this world and many lives way too early.
The second son of Richard and Brenda Hills, Jeremy possessed a love for excitement and strove to excel in everything he did. He brought an intensity that was infectious. Whether cracking jokes, playing sports, fishing, or making the most of his time with friends and family, he impacted everyone and everything touched.
These qualities and so much more are forever etched on the hearts of his wife Brittany, son Jayden, daughter Ava, brothers Jason, Jacob, and Joshua, and nephews and nieces: Chase, Alexis, Brooklynn, Wyatt, Annabelle, and Evelyn.
Jeremy's rekindled faith returned him to God. While attending Life Church, he shared this faith and fellowship with his children and family and became a beacon of hope to those around him. There is no question that he has returned to his Savior and is looking down upon all of us now.
Though we rejoice in the blessed assurance of eternity with our beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, our hearts mourn for the coming days on this earth without him. We thank you for the outpouring of your love and support during this time, and we covet your continued prayers. May the Savior fulfill His promise to be "close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18).
We love you, Jeremy.
We will celebrate Jeremy's life on Monday, April 29th, at Life.Church Northland at 7206 N. Corrington Ave. KCMO. Visitation will begin at 6 with a memorial service following at 7.
A Go Fund Me has also been set up to help alleviate the financial burden on the families. If you desire to bless them, you may donate here:
