Jeremy Ray Johnson, 45, of Wichita, KS passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023 at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, March 17, 2023 at the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7 P.M. Thursday, March 16, 2023 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions for Jeremy may be made to The Lord's Diner, donations may be left in the care of the funeral home.
Jeremy was born in Wichita, KS on January 17, 1978 to parents Sheryl (Reed) Pugmire and Larry Johnson. He graduated from Wichita South High School. In 2008 Jeremy was united in marriage to Alicia Higbee, the couple later divorced. Jeremy worked as a handy man, detailing and fixing cars, and doing landscaping. He enjoyed riding bikes, playing guitar, drawing and making art, and he loved animals. Jeremy liked raising ducks and even made a cobblestone pond for his flock. He never took anything too seriously and loved to make people laugh.
Survivors include his children Lilliauna and Taidun Johnson, mother Sherry Pugmire and step-father Boyd Pugmire, father Larry Johnson, brothers Ryan and Jacob Pugmire, grandfather Charles Reed, and grandmother Lee Patterson.
