JEREMY D. KOPE
Jeremy David Kope, 25, of McLoud passed from this life at his home in Harrah to join a multitude of friends and family on October 21, 2025. He was born in Oklahoma City, OK on January 6, 2000. Jeremy was employed as an IT Specialist for BankOnIt in Oklahoma City.
He graduated from McLoud High School in 2018 and attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva on a football scholarship for two years. He then transferred to Eastern Oklahoma County Vo-Tech where he earned his IT credentials.
He was a 6-4, 300-pound Gentle Giant who enjoyed letting his younger cousins and other youngsters climb all over him. Jeremy loved his dog Wendy. He had a remarkable sense of humor, enjoyed video games and could play Dungeons and Dragons for hours at a time.
He is survived by his parents, Beverley Kope and the late Gene Kope; his sibling Kayden Kope and significant other Harley Musgrave of Harrah, Aunt and Uncle Natalie and Arley Peden of Harrah and cousins Kris and Hannah Sturm and son Jacob of Moore, Andrew and Kasey Sturm and son Kooper of McLoud and Rylee Peden of Harrah, Cody Peden of Harrah and other relatives and friends.
Memorial services are planned for a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
