Jeremy Martin Obituary
Funeral services for Jeremy Ray Martin, 23, of Lake Arthur, will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Rev. Jay Alexius officiating. Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
Visitation for Mr. Martin will begin on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. and continue until 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m. It will resume on Friday morning at 8:00 a.m. and will end at 12:30 p.m. to leave for church.
Jeremy was born in Lake Charles on October 8, 1999. He was a high school graduate and worked as a flowback operator in the oil industry. He was a father to two beautiful children that he absolutely adored. Jeremy loved baseball, fishing, Marvel movies, and driving trucks; however, what brought him the most joy was his children and being part of a large and loving family. He was such a special son, brother, father, and the imprint he left upon those who knew him will never be forgotten.
Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Stanley Joe Martin and Anastasia Vail Martin; daughter, Emerson Grace Davis; son Rhyder Ray Martin; fiancee' Elizabeth Habetz; sisters, Kristi Martin, Laney Martin and Gracie Hunt; brothers, Robert (Alyssa) Martin, Clayton (Katherine) Martin, Andre (Angelle) Martin, Jude Martin, Brent (Alexandria) Chapman, Bobby (Maigen) Leonard; and his biological mother, Diane Hunt.
