Jeremy Thomas Noller passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 in Chicago, IL in the loving presence of his family. He was 40 years old. Jeremy was born on October 21, 1981 in Libertyville, IL where he spent his childhood. His musical talent and desire to become a professional drummer was apparent at an early age. After high school Jeremy pursued a music degree at the University of Illinois and transferred to the University of North Florida, where he graduated with a bachelor's in Jazz Percussion Performance. Following graduation, he moved to New York to attend the Manhattan School of Music where he completed a Master's degree in Jazz Studies. He went on to receive his Jazz Artist Diploma from The Juilliard School.
Music was not Jeremy's only passion in life. He found his soulmate in his wife. Throughout their 17 year relationship they learned all about life together as supportive partners and best friends. The constant love, trust, and respect they showed towards each other was beautiful. Jeremy and Jessie shared a love of travel and reveled in the adventure of experiencing new cultures and cuisines. Jeremy then brought these experiences home with his love of cooking and vast knowledge and appreciation of wine.
Above all else, Jeremy lived life to its fullest. Jeremy had an amazing sense of humor which was his special way of connecting with family and friends. It was his art of humor and ability to face things head on that helped him navigate his battle with cancer and remain present and himself until the end. He was an amazing husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend who will be deeply missed.
Surviving is his parents, Tom and Joyce Noller; and 3 sisters,
Kimberly (Fernando) Bolanos, Bethany Bauer, and Stephanie (David) Flynn; 7 nieces and nephews, Sebastian, Oliver, Jacob and Ethan Bolanos and Henry, Violet, and Charlotte Bauer; father and mother-in-law, Glenn and Sandi Lytton, brothers-in-law, Colin Lytton and Evan (Daneith Beadle) Lytton and their son, Emory Lytton.
In lieu of traditional ceremony, a Celebration of Life event in his honor will be held at a later date.
