Jeremy Edward Stuart

Jeremy Edward Stuart, 38, of O'Fallon, Ill., passed away on January 7, 2025. Jeremy lived a life filled with love, adventure, and dedication to his family and community.
Born on March 16, 1986, in Los Angeles, Calif., Jeremy spent his formative years in the City of Angels where he attended school at Harvard-Westlake School. There, he developed a passion for wrestling, which he pursued competitively into his college years at Wesleyan University in Connecticut, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in the History of Science. Following graduation, Jeremy returned to Los Angeles to build a career in real estate and served as a certified lifeguard for Los Angeles County.
In 2010, Jeremy met his loving wife, Bethany Veronneau, in Santa Monica. Their love story culminated in a romantic Las Vegas elopement on August 4, 2015. Together, they built a beautiful family, welcoming three cherished children: Daphne Ziva Marie (9), Slade Levi (5),and Ezra Asher (2).
Jeremy's sense of duty and service led him to enlist in the U.S. Army in 2020, serving 2 years at Fort Cavazos (formerly Fort Hood) in Killeen, Texas. After completing his military service, the Stuart family settled in O'Fallon, Ill., where Jeremy pursued a degree in electrical engineering at the University of Missouri-St. Louis and worked in telecommunications. Jeremy had a deep love for the ocean, surfing, and traveling. He was happiest outdoors-camping, fishing, or playing with his children at the trampoline park. He cherished teaching his kids wrestling moves, cooking and baking with Bethany, and enjoying quiet family evenings.
Jeremy honored his Jewish heritage, practicing his faith at Central Reform Congregation, while also maintaining ties with Skyline Church, reflecting his open and inclusive spiritual journey. His adventurous spirit, unwavering love for his family, and determination to overcome challenges will forever inspire those who knew him.
Jeremy is survived by his loving wife, Bethany; their three precious children, Daphne, Slade, and Ezra; his parents, Bruce and Renee Stuart; his sister, Arielle (Avi), and niece, Talia; his beloved dog, Libby; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A memorial visitation will be held at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, 102 W. Washington St., O'Fallon, IL 62269, on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at 9:00 AM, followed by a procession to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, where a military honors ceremony will take place at 11:00 AM.
