Mr. Jerimiah Dobbins, age 22, a resident of Mount Pleasant, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Born on March 20, 2003, in Washington, D.C., Jerimiah was the son of William Dobbins Jr. and Keisha Smith. From a young age, he had a deep love for football. He began playing at the age of six while living in Washington, D.C. and later continued his football journey after moving to Tennessee. He played little league football with the Bulldogs in Columbia. Jerimiah went on to play for Mt. Pleasant Middle School, and later for Mt. Pleasant High School. He was a devoted Ohio State football fan. One summer, he attended a week-long camp at Ohio State, an experience that brought him immense joy and left him with memories he cherished deeply.

In addition to football, Jerimiah had an entrepreneurial spirit. He dreamed of starting his own vending machine business and was actively saving toward that goal, determined to work for himself and be his own boss.

Music was another passion close to his heart. Jerimiah loved to rap and perform under the name 'Jai Ruthless', a name that reflected both his talent and confidence. He built a home studio where he spent countless late nights creating music. Watching his videos on YouTube and seeing how happy and fulfilled he was in his element brought great pride to those who loved him. His dedication to his craft was inspiring, and it was clear he was destined for great things.

Jerimiah was known for his strong beliefs, kind heart, and generous spirit. He was happy, goofy, thoughtful, and always willing to help others- especially his family and friends. His love for his brother was extraordinary; they were best friends who shared an unbreakable bond and always looked out for one another.

Above all, Jerimiah loved deeply and loved authentically. He touched the lives of many, and his memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.Jerimiah is survived by his mother, Keisha Smith; his father, William Dobbins; brother, Zavion Dobbins; grandfather, James Smith; grandmother, Angella Wilson; uncle, Mark King; aunts, Jaime Smith, Keli Brown, Mercedes Davis, Porshae Davis.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers Patricia Jackson and Amy Davis; his grandfather William Dobbins Sr.; and great-grandparents Mary Davis, Everlean Smith, and James Smith.
