Jerold J. "Kip" Dorn, formerly of Kenosha, passed away unexpectedly in his home December 20th, 2024.
Born in Kenosha, Wisconsin on August 26th, 1947, the son of Jerold J. & Joyce C. (Urban) Dorn. Kip attended Kenosha schools, graduating from Mary. D. Bradford in 1966. He was a member of the Kenosha Queensman & Kingsman and Vigilante Drum & Bugle Corps. on the drum line and went on to become a percussion instructor. Kip relocated to California in 1971 where he also performed and taught in West Coast Express and Anaheim Kingsman Drum & Bugle Corps.
He married the love of his life, Jeanne R. (Benoit) Dorn in 1977, building their home in Temecula, California. He loved the Packers, grilling, fishing and attending NASCAR races with his son. Traveling often to Wisconsin to see his children and grandchildren.
Kip will be deeply missed by his children, son Jeffery John Dorn (Erika) of Union Grove, Wi and his daughter Karlie A. Dorn (Thomas Carstensen) of Waukesha, Wi along with his 8 grandchildren his 6 great grandchildren. And his close extended family of neighbors and friends.
Kip is preceded in death by his father, Jerold Dorn, mother Joyce C. (Urban) Dorn and his wife Jeanne R. (Benoit) Dorn.
A private service will be held for his children at England Family Mortuary Services in Temecula, Ca. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to his children at the following address: KK & JD 1946 Rambling Rose Rd Waukesha, Wi 53186.
