Jerome Barutha Obituary
(July 27, 1942-April 5, 2024)
Jerome C. "Jerry" Barutha, 81 of Cudahy, passed away on Friday April 5, 2024, at Willowcrest Health Services in South Milwaukee.
He was born in Milwaukee on July 27, 1942, the son of the late Harry and Agryphine (Wojtasiak) Barutha. On July 21, 1979, he was united in marriage to Linda Mae (Ewert) in Milwaukee. They enjoyed 28 years together and are now once again reunited.
For four years Jerry proudly served his country in the USMC. Semper Fidelis. Jerry was a faithful, and dedicated employee for "The Ladish Co." in Cudahy for almost forty years.
Jerry was a generous soul, and gave his time to community schools, and organizations. He was a basketball coach for General Mitchell Elementary school in Cudahy, and a baseball coach for Blessed Sacrament, Milwaukee, and Thomas Moore, St. Francis.
Those Jerry leaves behind to cherish his memory include his five daughters: Diane (Darin) Green of Green Lake, Jerri (David) Eickhoff of Racine, Pearlann Frances (Edward) Martin of Cudahy, Nancy (Christopher) Langenfeld of Pickett, and Michelle Barutha (Bob) of St. Francis, as well as his stepson Michael Reed of Greenfield. Seven grandchildren; Daidre (Daryl) Green, Lauren (Matthew) Ayvazzadeh, David Green (Brooke Roshell), Derrick Green (Claire), Hannah Langenfeld (Kaden), Taylor Eickhoff, and Hailey Phillips. Four great grandchildren; Deejia, Kayden and Ella Pearl Ayvazzadeh, and Ella Day Green. Jerry is further survived by his sister Michelle (Dean) Lesch, and brother Mitchell Scott (Linda) Barutha of Pittsburgh. Also survived by many relatives, and friends.
In addition to his parent's, and wife Jerry was preceded in death by his sister Nadine Bonner.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 3774 E. Underwood Ave., Cudahy from 2:00PM until the time of Memorial Service at 4:00PM.
