Jerome Anthony Bray Jr., affectionately known as "Jay" by his loved ones and friends, was born March 2, 1986, in Saint Louis, Missouri, to Jerome A. Bray Sr., and Nancy Marie Bray. Jay graduated from Eskridge High School in 2004. Upon graduating, he held several positions and his last was a landscaper for L.R. Walls Lawn Care. In his younger years, he loved to play the drums and he played for Vashon High School. At Eskridge, he played on the baseball team in the position of shortstop. Jay loved being around his family and friends. While spending time with his loved ones, he mastered several video games. Jay departed this life before dawn on Saturday, October 1, 2011. His grandparents: James Bray Sr., and Nora Dalton; and great-grandparents: Fred and Dora Bray preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memory: five (5) sons; Jerome A. Bray III, Javon A. Bray, KeyShawn A. Bray, Jayden A. Bray and Jamarii Bray; 2 daughters: Jada B. Bray and Ja'Nya M. Bray; his mother, Nancy M. Bray, and his father, Jerome A. Bray Sr., (Maxine); grandmother, Annie Bray; two sisters: Latosha Houston and Brittany Bray; three brothers: Chauncey Reed, Jerraud Bray and Dayton Johnson; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
