Professor Coopersmith was my screenwriting teacher at Brooklyn College in Grad School. I was ecstatic to have him for my teacher once I realized he was the same writer who penned my favorite episodes of Hawaii Five-O! His classes were informative and fun. I remember one day he discussed how important it is to have a hobby not related to writing. He then took out a pair of tap shoes and demonstrated several steps, before doing a little dance for us. I would like to send my sincere condolences to his family and his friends. I have never forgotten the professor. He was such a genuinely good human being and a genius when it came to storytelling.
