Jerome Corradin

Jerome "Jerry" Corradin, age 81, of Wilmington, passed away unexpectedly surrounded by his family on Friday, September 5, 2025.

Jerry was born in Wilmington, son of the late Angela (Turtoro) and James Patrick Corradin. Jerry graduated from Wilmington High School and went to work for Hewlett Packard, which became Agilent Technologies, for over 34 years until his retirement in 2011. He had various roles at the companies with the most prominent being Environmental Safety Inspection and Engineering. Jerry was a devout catholic and was a long-time parishioner at St. Matthews Roman Catholic Church and never missed Sunday mass. In his free time, Jerry enjoyed working on his beloved Corvette with his son, listening to blues and oldies music as well as playing guitar, cheering on his favorite sports teams - the Philadelphia Eagles, Oakland Raiders, and University of Delaware football. Jerry also enjoyed spending time with his family and kept in touch with all his childhood friends. More recently, Jerry's favorite pastime was playing and joking around with his grandson, Roman. In addition to his parents, Jerry was also predeceased by his brother, James Corradin; and sister, Theresa Cann.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Joan Corradin; daughter, Katie Corradin; son, and fiancé, Jerry (Britney) Corradin; grandchildren, Roman M. and Cale Jerome Corradin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and close family friends whom he all loved.

A visitation for Jerome will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808, where friends and family may call from 5 to 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 10am at St. Matthews Roman Catholic Church, 901 E. Newport Pk, Wilmington, DE 19804. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
