Edward J. Wojciechowski

Edward John Paul Wojciechowski, 77, of Pittsgrove, NJ passed away on August 24, 2025. Born in Wilmington, DE, he was the son of the late Stanley and Helen (Krajewski) Wojciechowski and brother of the late Frank Wojciechowski. Eddie was a 1968 graduate of Wilmington High School and proudly served his country as a Rifleman in the United States Marine Corps from 1968 to 1970 and in the Reserves until 1974. Eddie met Dianne Marie Ragonese at Palatine Lake in Pittsgrove, NJ. The two were married in 1972 and they moved to Runnemede, NJ. For the last 20 years, they lived in Pittsgrove Township. Eddie spent his career as a welder, starting out in the Philadelphia Ship Yards and ultimately working at the Sunoco Eagle Point Refinery from which he retired when the plant closed in 2009. He was an avid outdoorsman and sportsman, and especially enjoyed duck hunting and trout fishing. Eddie was also extremely artistic; he created oil paintings of wildlife and landscapes. But, above all else, he truly loved and enjoyed his grandchildren. Eddie is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, together for 58 years, Dianne Marie Wojciechowski; his children Amy Wojciechowski (Eric Scherck) and Steven Wojciechowski (Aimee); his grandchildren Travis, Austyn, and Phineas; and his sisters, Joan and Phyllis. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by five siblings. Services will be held on Thursday night, August 28, 2025 at Adams Funeral Home, 111 S. Main Street, Elmer, NJ 08318. There will be a visitation from 6 PM to 8 PM with military honors and a service to begin at 8 PM.
