Jerome Allan Thompson

Jerome Allan Thompson, age 74, of Verona, PA, passed away peacefully at home on January 22, 2026. Born January 15, 1952, in Pittsburgh, Jerome was the beloved son of the late Steven and Rhoda Thompson.

Jerome was a true family man whose life centered around the people he loved. He was the devoted husband of Darlinda (Claypool) Thompson, with whom he shared a life rooted in love, commitment, and family. Jerome took great pride in being a father and was a constant source of guidance, strength, and support to his children: Dan Brooks, Jerome A. McAfee, Daniel Thompson, William (Kim) Brooks, Domnique (John) Thompson, and Marshall Thompson.

Nothing brought Jerome more joy than his role as a grandfather. He was deeply loved by his grandchildren, Gia, Tai, Donovan, Lincoln, Bella, Roman, Lenox, and Trion, each of whom held a special place in his heart.

He was a cherished brother to Charles Thompson and Darlene Banks, and was preceded in death by his siblings Steven, Carol, and Donna.

Jerome will be remembered for his steady presence, his unwavering devotion to his family, and the love that defined his life. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched and the family he so dearly cherished.
