Jeromy "Travis" Savage, a devoted husband, loving father, and talented artisan passed away on September 20, 2025, in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. Born on January 9, 1985, Travis led a vibrant life he was truly passionate about.

Travis's work ethic was unmatched. He recently dedicated his professional career to becoming ADAM certified, enjoying his work as well as coworkers at Door Equipment Company, Inc. Travis's sense of humor, his loyalty & ability to always get back up, truly is what his passionate soul was defined by his remarkable eye for detail, curious spirit, love of nature and ability to find beauty in the forgotten made him the talented artist he was. He had a special skill for restoring antique pieces, often collecting, refurbishing, and reselling them, showcasing his aptitude for turning the old into something new and cherished, highlighting his belief that redemption is available and attainable.

With a heart that remained youthful, Travis found joy in collecting action figures with his son, drawing with his daughter and making his bonus daughter laugh any chance he got. He enjoyed the creative process of smelting new works of art. His persistence in the face of challenges illustrated his belief that every moment holds value and what we do with it is our choice; as he would say, "it's not the dog in the fight, it's the fight in the dog". Determination at his core, Travis showed up every day the only way he knew how: authentically & with the belief that the most impactful life lessons come from the dark & allowed him sincere gratitude for the moments of light.

Family was at the core of Travis's existence and was best expressed in the life he shared with his wife, Lindsey Higdon, who through every celebration, adventure & hardship alike, stood with him honoring the undeniable bond & beautiful family they built. Travis treasured above anything else in this world the time spent with his children, Makenzie Ann Savage, Ryder Travis Savage, and Aubrey Jailyn Russell providing them with love and support & leaving with them so many cherished memories. He also leaves behind his parents, Antony and Freda Savage, who he loved & dearly respected.

Travis is additionally survived by his uncle, Anthony Ransom (Robin), his aunts, Linda Nalley (Daniel), Theresa Savage (Craig) and Tammy Medlock (Josh) & his cousins Patty Bowen, and Brody Dennison all who will remember him for his energetic & sincere spirit. He is proceeded in death by Terrence Trey Zwicker, whose life he was honored & cherished being a part of as well as his grandparents William & Normaleen Dennison & his uncle Rodney Bubby Dennison. His legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends, reminding all who knew him of the smiles & support he brought into their lives.

A visitation will be held at Maraman Billings Funeral Home, located at 605 South Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, Kentucky, on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM.
