Jerri Phillips Obituary
She was born in Anderson, SC on April 17, 1940, to the late Joseph Hobert Foxx and Nadine Kelm Foxx. Jerri was affectionately known as "Maw Maw", she loved animals, especially dogs and cats. She enjoyed watching wrestling and listening to country music. Maw Maw was a loving mother and grandmother, and will be deeply missed.
Jerri was predeceased by her grandchildren, Tyler J. Abbott, Aydin T. Abbott and Channin Chapman.
She is survived by her daughters Susan Abbott, of Sanford, NC; Sandra Godbold and husband Ernest of Columbia, SC ; Christine Danielle Phillips of Rockingham, NC; Son Terry Gene Hanks and wife Barbara of Mebane, NC. 14 grand-children; 33 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, November 27, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.
