It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jerry L. Anthony, age 77, who left us on January 4, 2026. Born on August 7, 1948, in West Virginia. Jerry lived a life filled with love for his family and friends. Known affectionately to many as "Pop," he was the heartbeat of the family gathering at his home, where everyone felt welcome and cherished.
Jerry was a proud veteran of the Marine Corps and his love for country was evident in his passion for all things red, white, and blue. When he wasn't working, you could find him in his beloved garage, working on his 1972 Monte Carlo, tinkering around or sharing stories with anyone who dropped by.
A true family man, Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Anthony, and their two sons, Kevin (wife Fran) and Kenny (wife Kimberly) Anthony. Beloved grandfather to Ryan Anthony, Nathen Jones, Jordan Wildberger, Harper Anthony, and Addison Anthony. Great Grandfather to Emersyn Wildberger and Lainey Wildberger. He also leaves behind his dear nephew, Clark Massey, great niece Cheyenne Massey and many special friends.
In honor of Jerry's life, a public viewing will take place on Wednesday January 7, 2026, at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk from 3:00-7:00 pm. The funeral service will be held the following day on Thursday January 8 at 10:00 am. Jerry will then be laid to rest at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens- 10201 Bird River Rd, Middle River 21220.
Rest in peace, Pop. Your spirit will forever live on in our hearts.
