Mr. Jerry Dean Bargsley

Mr. Jerry Dean Bargsley, 58, of Hildebran passed away peacefully October 23, 2021 at Frye Regional Medical Center following a period of declining health. Jerry was born July 11, 1963 in Buncombe County to the late Charles Bargsley, Sr. and Vena Marie Ray Bargsley. Jerry worked as a truck driver for PFH/IFH for 33 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Loretta O'Conner. Survivors include his wife, Teresa Bargsley of the home; sons, Jason Bargsley and wife Jessica of Hildebran, and Dustin Bargsley and wife Jessica of Gastonia; grandchildren, Garrett Hildebran, Rylan Bargsley, Logan Keene, Elijah Bargsley, and Bailey Bargsley; and siblings, Jerald Bargsley of Lenoir, Charles Bargsley, Jr. and wife Rosalind of Hickory, and Melissa Bargsley of Hickory. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 2:00PM to 3:00PM at Heritage Funeral Service. A graveside service will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Valdese.
