Lezlie Bargsley

Lezlie Elaine Bargsley of Cherokee, Texas passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024, at the age of 65, surrounded by her husband, brother, and children. She was born August 6, 1958, in San Angelo, Texas. She grew up in San Angelo, Texas and later moved to Austin, Texas where she eventually met her husband, John Bargsley Jr. who she shared 34 years of precious marriage with.
Lezlie was a loving wife, daughter, sister, and mother. She spent her free time dancing, spending quality time with her loved ones, renovating her home, and caring for her dog Belle. Lezlie loved to reminisce about the fun times and listen to her favorite music from when she was young and growing up with her husband and children. She will be forever missed by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Lezlie is preceded in death by her father Glen Billings and mother Ann Billings.
Lezlie is survived by husband John Bargsley Jr. of Cherokee, Texas, brother Travis Billings of Austin, Texas, daughter Ashley Dixon and her husband Daniel Dixon of Houston, Texas, son Jason Waits and his partner Kimberly Wittkower Gray of Dripping Springs, Texas, son Jordan Waits of Cherokee, Texas and grandchildren Aidan Bible, Raymond Waits, Jamison Waits, and Iris Dixon.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 8, at Cherokee City Cemetery.
The family would like to thank St. Davids North Austin Medical Center for the care and compassion they showed Lezlie in her final days.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home of San Saba.
