Jack Grumbles Obituary
February 15, 1940 - January 24, 2026
Jack Leonard Grumbles, 85, of Ft. Worth, Texas, passed away on January 24, 2026. He was born on February 15, 1940, in San Saba, Texas, and spent his life rooted in the community he loved.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Harmony Ridge Cemetery in San Saba, where Jack will be laid to rest.
Jack was united in marriage to Dorothy Grumbles on July 9, 2024. The two shared over 25 years together, and Jack often said of their marriage, "She got to keep him." Their love and companionship were a source of joy and strength to both of them.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis Albert Grumbles and Mary Frances McGowan, and by one sister, Billie Catherine Means.
Jack is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Grumbles; his daughter Machelle Blaesing and husband Craig of Athens, Texas; and his stepchildren Benjamin Lehmann of Groesbeck, Texas; Matthew Lehmann and wife Jennifer of Lubbock, Texas; Daniel Lehmann and wife Lacy of Montgomery, Texas; and Jessica Speights and husband Chris of Pearland, Texas.
He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren: Maddison Warner, Colsen Speights, Carter Speights, Kaden Lehmann, Parker Lehmann, Ellie Lehmann, Gracie Lehmann, Adam Lehmann, Zoe Lehmann, Khloe Lehmann, Sophie Lehmann, and Savannah Lehmann, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Jack will be remembered for his steady presence, his devotion to family, and the many relationships he built over a lifetime. His legacy lives on in the lives of those he loved and those who loved him.
