Jerry Ann Caddell, 85, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 29, 2025. She was born August 2, 1940, the daughter of James and Nellene Ranstead, in Miami, Oklahoma.

Jerry Ann lived a life full of love, creativity, and deep appreciation for the world around her. She had a remarkable gift for quilting, creating pieces that displayed her patience and care shown in every stitch. Her love of nature was evident in the way she found joy in the simplest moments. She had a gentle outlook on life and the ability to see beauty in everything. Above all, Jerry Ann cherished her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose kindness, wisdom, and steady presence created a home where all felt welcome.

Jerry Ann was a member of the Blue Springs Christian Church. She had a strong and enduring relationship with the Lord.

Jerry Ann was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Terry Ranstead. She is survived by her devoted husband, Wayne Caddell, of 67 years; sons, Scott Caddell and Randy Caddell; daughter, Ty Ann Crawford (Carl); 10 grandchildren; & 6 great-grandchildren.
