Jerry Eugene Cromer, Jr., son of the late Mr. And Mrs. Jerry Eugene Cromer, Sr. (Billie Faye Hayes), died peacefully on March 27, 2026, surrounded by those who loved him most. Born on August 28, 1963, Jerry was the owner of Cromer's Enterprises of Sumter and Cromer's Carwash.

More than his knowledge of all things engineering and design and his ability to be an auditory diagnostician, Jerry was the inventor of the Quadpuck Systems which enabled those who were physically challenged to operate electronic components and computers independently. Jerry

demonstrated his incredible ability to make technology accessible to everyone.

Jerry possessed a rare gift for connecting with people. Whether it was leading someone step-by-step on how to fix their engine, encouraging others with his unwavering positivity despite a life-changing accident, or offering advice when it was needed most, his presence was a comfort to everyone he encountered.

Jerry left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him, through his compassion for others, his love for the lake, and the way he made everyone feel welcome in his home.

His greatest joy, by far, was being an Uncle to all of his nieces and Great Uncle to Pruitt, Parker Hayes, Wilder and Cromer.

While we will miss him deeply, we rejoice in knowing he is now healed and celebrating in the presence of his Savior.

He is survived by his brother, Perron Mark Cromer (Nancy Montague), along with many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly: Nancy Hayes Cromer Owens (Ansel Owens), Virginia Cromer Gibbons (Kerry), Perrin Marie Cromer Wells (Noah Wells), and Rebecca Cromer Noonan (Will Noonan), along with Pruitt Owens, Parker Hayes Owens and Cromer Owens, Wilder Gibbons, .

He is also survived by his uncle, W. L. Cromer, Jr. (Earline Ford), and cousins: Patrick and Melissa Cromer and their family, Justin and Caroline Cromer and their daughter Ann Dozier; Austin and Megan Cromer and their son Greyson; and Larry and Debbie Cromer. He was preceded in death by the late Mr. and Mrs. William Lawrence Cromer, Sr. (Beulah Jackson) and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Cour (Thelma), and his nephew, William Benton Owens.

Jerry will be lovingly remembered by his extended family and many dear friends.

Though our hearts grieve, we celebrate the promise of eternal life and the joy of knowing Jerry is now at home in heaven-where there is no more pain, only peace.

Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Ron Bower officiating.

The family will receive friends at the home of Perron and Nancy Cromer.
