Jerry W. Dell

Jerry W. Dell, age 77 of Sturgis, Michigan, passed away Thursday morning September 19, 2024, at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
He was born May 20, 1947, in Sturgis, Michigan, son of the late John W. and Maxine (Buys) Dell.
Jerry resided nearly his entire life in Sturgis.
He retired from Formed Tubes in Sturgis following several years of dedicated employment. Prior to joining Formed Tubes, he had been employed at Mr. Bubbles in Sturgis and Bosch Industries in Elkhart, Indiana.
He was a past member of Loyal Order of Moose #574. Jerry enjoyed fishing and riding his bicycle and truly loved time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his lifelong friend: Janet Lung of White Pigeon; daughter: Nicole (Brian) Myers of Sturgis; son: Troy Dell of White Pigeon; grandchildren: Michaela, Kaitlyn, Mariah, Mason, Alexis, Mackenzie and Carter; great grandchildren: Bryson, Mylen and Easton; sisters: Donna King of Gobles, Judy Lafler of Centreville and Gina Ihinger of Sturgis; brother: Dick (Lillian) Dell of Burr Oak; other family members: Randi Dell of Battle Creek and Chantel Woods of Angola and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Duane Gregg and Jack Reed.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 P.M., Sunday, Sept. 22nd at the Hackman Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 114 S. Nottawa St. in Sturgis. In honoring Jerry's wishes cremation will follow the visitation.
