Jerry Lynn Derrow

Jerry Lynn Derrow, 77, of Moundsville WV passed away peacefully at home on March 7, 2026, after a courageous battle with a neurological disease.

He was born on February 6, 1949, in Glen Dale, WV, the son of the late Richard E. and Irene J. (Suhodolski) Derrow.

Jerry was a retired Ironworker out of Local 549 in Wheeling, a U.S. Navy corpsman veteran, having served in the Vietnam War. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Rodney Derrow, and a nephew, Daniel Derrow.

Survivors include his wife, Carol (Hinerman) Derrow, two sons, Jake Derrow of Fredericksburg, VA, and Brett (Jami) Derrow of Springboro, OH, a daughter, Joy (Ryan) Kempkens of Wheeling, sister, Cindy (Derrow) Foster, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sharon (Hinerman) and Dave Hall, and sister-in-law Janet Hinerman, six grandchildren, Chase, Kolton, Elana, Brayden, Bria and Bryce, and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation or services as per Jerry's request.
